Mentoring Is The Key to Internet Marketing Success
Hi there and I trust your Internet marketing activity is progressing well. My week has been fraught with the day job but I've managed to put in a worthwhile amount of effort into our online and Internet marketing activity. I've got what I hope is really useful point to share with you.

But because I've absolutely decided this is the year for us making it online - I can't just stop. So there are some guys here in the UK who are real internet marketing professionals who I know, so I fired off an email - identified what I've done (in detail) and asked for some frank and constructive feedback even down to are my posts rubbish,? That kind of thing. So 24 hours past, nothing (well they are busy people!!!) but then soon after I get a response & I've pulled out some of the relevant comments below:

My point here is I'm lucky that I've found a couple of mentors to really hold my hand when I need it & we all do from time to time. Now these guys are really successful, making real money so for me when they comment good, bad or indifferent - I listen. So the points they made were just the 'pep talk' I needed.
Get a 'Life qualified' Mentor
Moral is get your self a mentor who 'knows'. But make sure you get one who 'is doing it, making money' online not just theorising about it. I don't even really like the term mentor I prefer 'Helping Hand' but it doesn't have the same ring to it.
Search the forums you'll find many recommendations and also you can check out your shortlist of potential mentors through forum posts to ensure you get the 'real deal'.
I really believe this is possibly one of the most vital assets you can spend money on. because for us it makes the difference of getting hacked off and walking away for months, to then return and re-start & re-learn, time wasted. And that's why although we've been online for several years we've not 'made it'. This year will & is different and I tell you my mindset is totally different this time as well, helped by having experts to turn to in my hour of need

Radio aint dead! It's still a great way for an independent musician to get their music heard by a huge number of people. But with so many musicians, and mainstream radio only catering to a select few "superstars" it's hard work getting heard. So how does someone trying to become a rapper or singer use radio to gain exposure?
Q: I've got a SMASH single! How do I get my music on the radio?
A: Getting on radio can be a hard task and there are entire companies dedicated to what's called Radio Tracking (getting your music on radio and tracking the spins). But hiring these companies is hella expensive. You CAN do it yourself - but its lots of work. The very FIRST thing you need to do is make sure the rapping beats and r&b beats you chose are HIT radio-style beats. Next make sure your song is properly mixed and mastered. NO radio station in the world will take an unmastered song and add it to rotation. It's usually a good idea to get some professional physical CDs made in case the stations you send your music to don't accept digital download links. You'll also need a good Biography of yourself as an artist or group and some professional photos if you want to do this right. I've written other articles on most of those subjects. After this it is time to find radio station's you're going to send your music to.
This is important and it may seem like common sense, but you'd be surprised what up and coming rappers and singers do - its mad unprofessional. Do some research and find stations that will actually play your music. (As a rapper, don't send your CD to a country station). Commercial Radio, the main pop/rock/urban stations in your area, are probably not the best place to start because they are very controlled and hard to break into. College radio is great for independent artists though because it is less controlled and more accepting to independent and underground rappers and singers. A good resource is called the "Indie Bible." It's a MASSIVE book full of contact info for radio stations and places to send your music. Compile a list of stations and get ready to mail your CDs and email your digital links out to them. (Make sure whenever you can, you find a specific PERSON at the station to send your music to - either a specific DJ or the Music Director.)
Work in steps. Start locally, then go state/province wide, and then work nationally. At each stage make sure you follow-up with whoever you sent your package to two weeks after you send it out. Remember not to be annoying and it's all good if you get in touch with them to see if they got your music and had a chance to listen. Be kind, polite and real and you can get some serious exposure through radio.

Radio aint dead! It's still a great way for an independent musician to get their music heard by a huge number of people. But with so many musicians, and mainstream radio only catering to a select few "superstars" it's hard work getting heard. So how does someone trying to become a rapper or singer use radio to gain exposure?
Q: I've got a SMASH single! How do I get my music on the radio?
A: Getting on radio can be a hard task and there are entire companies dedicated to what's called Radio Tracking (getting your music on radio and tracking the spins). But hiring these companies is hella expensive. You CAN do it yourself - but its lots of work. The very FIRST thing you need to do is make sure the rapping beats and r&b beats you chose are HIT radio-style beats. Next make sure your song is properly mixed and mastered. NO radio station in the world will take an unmastered song and add it to rotation. It's usually a good idea to get some professional physical CDs made in case the stations you send your music to don't accept digital download links. You'll also need a good Biography of yourself as an artist or group and some professional photos if you want to do this right. I've written other articles on most of those subjects. After this it is time to find radio station's you're going to send your music to.
This is important and it may seem like common sense, but you'd be surprised what up and coming rappers and singers do - its mad unprofessional. Do some research and find stations that will actually play your music. (As a rapper, don't send your CD to a country station). Commercial Radio, the main pop/rock/urban stations in your area, are probably not the best place to start because they are very controlled and hard to break into. College radio is great for independent artists though because it is less controlled and more accepting to independent and underground rappers and singers. A good resource is called the "Indie Bible." It's a MASSIVE book full of contact info for radio stations and places to send your music. Compile a list of stations and get ready to mail your CDs and email your digital links out to them. (Make sure whenever you can, you find a specific PERSON at the station to send your music to - either a specific DJ or the Music Director.)
Work in steps. Start locally, then go state/province wide, and then work nationally. At each stage make sure you follow-up with whoever you sent your package to two weeks after you send it out. Remember not to be annoying and it's all good if you get in touch with them to see if they got your music and had a chance to listen. Be kind, polite and real and you can get some serious exposure through radio.

Review of the Benchmade Osborne 943 Knife
In this review, we will be taking an in-depth look at the Benchmade Osborne 943 Knife. In my opinion, this is by far one of the best EDC (Every Day Carry) knives I have used to this day.
Overall, this knife is well worth the price I paid for it. The Osborne 943 usually sells for a price of $150.00 - $180.00. With luck, I found mine on eBay for $130.00. It's a sleek, lightweight, and extremely well built knife. The product specs for this knife are:

Now let's look at some of the details of this knife that make it such high quality.
First up is the blade. It is a high quality steel with a clip-point, with an ambidextrous dual thumb-stud opener, and it's razor sharp. I've been using mine daily now for approximately six months and the blade is just as sharp as it was when I first got it. The length is 3.4" keeping it within legal limits for most laws but still long enough for utility use as well as self-defense. Benchmade makes the knife with different blade choices such as a clip-point straight edge or a partially serrated edge as well as a choice of a satin finish or black finish on the blade.
Next is the grip of the knife. The grip is slim, sleek, and ergonomically correct. The length of the knife with the blade closed is 4.47", and 7.87" overall length. I have small to medium size hands and find that this knife fits me perfectly. The handle is made of black, anodized, 6061-T6 aircraft grade, machined aluminum and 410 stainless steel liners. It also has a reversible carry clip that allows for the knife to be carried tip-up. This is a valuable feature for self-defense use for rapid deployment of the knife.
The last item is the Axis® Locking Mechanism. This is solid and ingenious design on the part of Benchmade to allow for a secure locking of the blade on the knife. Here is the information on the Axis® Lock from the Benchmade website, "A patented Benchmade exclusive, AXIS has been turning heads and winning fans ever since its introduction. A 100-percent ambidextrous design, AXIS gets its function from a small, hardened steel bar which rides forward and back in a slot machined into both steel liners. The bar extends to both sides of the knife, spanning the liners and positioned over the rear of the blade. It engages a ramped, tang portion of the knife blade when it is opened. Two omega style springs, one on each liner, give the locking bar it's inertia to engage the knife tang, and as a result the tang is wedged solidly between a sizable stop pin and the AXIS bar itself. In conclusion, I give the Benchmade Osborne 943 knife an overall rating of A+. I would not hesitate to recommend this knife to anyone interested in a high quality, durable, and multipurpose knife.

Write From The Heart and Connect With Your Audience
As a nonfiction book and ebook ghostwriter and copyeditor, writing from the heart has always been a challenge for me. I'm one of those "just the facts Ma'am" kind of people. I love to learn and I love to educate, in other words, I'm an information junkie. You may have heard the axiom: Teach what you need to learn. And that's what I often do. So if I teach others how to write from the heart, maybe I'll improve my own skills.
So how do you write from the heart? And why would you want to? First, as readers we get more information on a daily basis than we can handle. So, to decide what we'll read and what we'll discard, we select what appeals most to us. Of course, it depends on why you read what you read-for information, for entertainment, to further your career, to catch up with friends, and so on. Second, writing that affects you most is writing that connects on a personal level. When I share from my heart, you feel it and you get it. When I ramble on from my brain, you quickly disconnect-unless the content is so compelling to you.
Because you want to connect you with your ideal audience, you need to know as much as possible about the ultimate reader of whatever communications you're writing-emails, articles, blogs, ebooks... Why? Because not everyone will respond the same way to the same message, so you'll have to tweak your writing to different target markets.
Of course, if you're writing a memo in a formal business environment, writing from the heart may not be all that well received. Now, you can write sincerely, but you may want to tone down the personal connecting that you would do when writing to a friend. If you're writing an email to your target audience, get clear about who they are, what they want, and what you want to accomplish. That is, what's your purpose? Do you want to impart valuable information and establish yourself as the trusted expert on your topic? Do you want to stay in touch with your audience? Do you want to attract prospects to your website? Do you want to sell a product and make a profit? The clearer you are about the purpose of your writing, the more effective you'll be at reaching that purpose. When you connect with your purpose, you'll connect with your readers. They'll get what you're communicating and respond accordingly.
When you write from your heart and know your audience and your purpose, writing can become a labor of love. When you connect with your audience, your writing is at its most impactful! You're writing for both yourself (to reach your goals) and for others (to serve your market). This is the key to effective communication. Communication is a two-way street, and you're not communicating effectively if what you write is not being heard. So the more you know about your target market, the better you'll be able to write to them so your message will be received.
Therefore, writing from the heart connects you on a personal level with your audience, and writing valuable content connects you on a professional level. Writing from your heart will almost guarantee that what you've written-whether an email, text message, report, article, or ebook-will get read and will make an impact. And in order to do that, just say what's on your mind and in your heart.

It may surprise you, but there is in fact no better time to invest in diamonds than now. With the recession ending, diamonds are now skyrocketing in value. Normally, diamond value increases by 15% every year, but in 2010 they increased by 48%! This is due to the end of the recession as well as an increasing diamond demand in countries like India and China.
It is a very good idea now to buy diamonds (especially online, because prices tend to be 20%-40% cheaper when buying online, and you never get scammed by the major retailers online). It's much, MUCH safer to buy online than it is to go to your typical New York street jeweler (please don't do that to yourself).
Diamond value is now like a horse running really, really fast. The value just keeps accelerating and nobody is really sure where it will end up. Predictions say that value should return to the normal 15% increase per year in 2013, but one thing's for sure: The prices of diamonds(especially online) will never be this cheap. They are already rising and taking advantage now would be a very wise idea.
Another reason why it's 100% safe to invest in diamonds is because you can very quickly sell them if you're clever. Because online prices are inferior to retail prices, you can easily buy a diamond online and sell it for a profit just 4 months later.
